Theft of copper piping probed

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary in which copper piping was removed from a residence. It was one of three incidents reported by troopers.

Troopers said a residence at 12 Church View Drive, Jackson Township, Monroe County, was entered. Entry was gained by opening an unsecured access door leading into the crawl space under the home. The criminals then removed the copper water pipes in the home. The incident was discovered on Monday, Nov. 11, about 8 a.m. The home is owned by Bank of America, troopers said.

A home under construction at 1526 Eagle View Court, Shadow Ridge development in Jackson Township, was entered sometime between 5 p.m. on Nov. 5 and 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 6. Removed was interior trim, pre-hung doors and a set of precut stairs. The listed victim is LTS Homes, of East Stroudsburg.

Sarah Jozowski, 21, of 1640 SR534, in Albrights- ville, Carbon County, reported her pure bred Rottweiler dog was stolen from its secured place outside the residence. The theft was reported at 8 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11.
