Schuylkill break-in being probed

State police at Frackville are investigating a burglary that occurred in Tuscarora, Schuylkill Township.

Troopers said the home of Jessica Ann Belder, 34, 303 Mulberry St., was entered by a rear door being forced open. Once inside the criminals went to an upstairs bedroom and removed a tan Century model lockbox, which was located under a night stand.

The lockbox contained documents as well as two gold chains, a platinum ring, and an engagement ring. The items are valued at $2,000.

The entry occurred sometime between 3-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-874-5300.
