Published November 15. 2013 06:57AM

Tamaqua police are investigating a reported robbery at 84 Hunter St.

Police were contacted at 10:20 p.m. on Nov. 5 by a Janet Lee Hosier, 52, who reported that two males, wearing Mardi Gras style masks, entered her apartment and proceeded to push her against a wall, demanding drugs. When Hosier said she didn't know what they were talking about, the men ripped open an envelope she had on her ottoman. The envelope contained her rent money, $510.

The thieves also expressed an interest in Hosier's laptop computer but left it behind when she mentioned it contained a tracking chip.

Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call police at 570-668-5000.
