New Ringgold man jailed on warrant

Published November 13. 2013 05:00PM

An accident on the Hometown Hill (SR309) on Nov. 7 landed a New Ringgold man in jail, but not because of the accident.

Jeff Houser, 35, was traveling north, operating a 1996 Jeep, when his vehicle was struck from behind by a 2002 Honda Civic. The driver of the Civic was a 17-year-old male from Summit Hill, who will be cited for traffic violations.

During a routine records check the investigating officer learned of a warrant for Houser's arrest. Houser was then arrested and lodged in the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville.
