Police looking for man, woman in theft of scooter, TV from Walmart
A Towamensing Township man, who allegedly stole a scooter from Walmart in Mahoning Township on Oct. 28, is now suspected of stealing a large-screen television.
Police said Troy Rehrig, 27, stole the scooter on Oct. 19.
A warrant has been issued for his arrest for stealing a 50-inch TV on Nov. 1, police said.
An alleged accomplice of Rehrig in the TV theft was Holly Koch, 20, of Mahoning Township.
Mahoning Township police said a warrant also was issued for Koch's arrest.
Rehrig was arraigned for the theft of the electronic scooter, valued at $209.88, on Oct. 30, and was released on $2,000 unsecured bail.
The TV that police say Rehrig and Koch stole is valued at $598.
Audie Mertz, officer in charge of township police, said the police received a call from Rehrig after attempting to serve the warrant. He refused to provide his location to officers, police added.
Rehrig reportedly is known to drive a red 1989 Jeep Comache Eliminator.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Rehrig and Koch is asked to call township police at 570-386-2241.
