A driver learning to drive crashed his vehicle causing damages to three parked vehicles and a home.

State police at Frackville said Nicholas Parsons, 19, of Myerstown, Lebanon County, was learning to drive and was operating a 1986 Chevrolet Blazer about 4:43 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1. He was attempting to parallel park in front of 14 N. Second St., in Middleport, when he sped forward striking a parked 1984 Coleman camper owned by Kevin Bressler, 46, of Middleport.

After striking the camper the Blazer continued north and struck a parked 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer owned by Mario Davila, of 384 W. Snyder Ave., Lansford, pushing it into a parked 2009 Toyota Scion owned by Stephen Stefan, 10 N. Second St., Middleport.

The Blazer continued on and struck the front porch at 12 N. Second St. owned by Sandra Butcavage.

No one was injured. Davila's vehicle was towed from the scene as was the vehicle Parsons was driving.

Troopers said Parsons will be cited for the crash.

Assisting troopers at the scene were volunteers from the Middleport and Kaska fire companies.
