A Pennsylvania Power and Light Company official said he would be willing to meet with Lehighton Borough Council, if invited, regarding proposed PP&L improvements to Lehighton feeder lines.

PP&L provides electricity to Lehighton at wholesale rates and Lehighton resells it to borough residents.

Neil T. Dwyer, power engineer at the Hazleton office at PP&L, said the System Planning Department of PP&L "looks at a five-year window in projecting the upgrade of our facilities."
