Carbon County Art League Inc. has announced its 32nd annual art exhibit to take place Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2, from noon until 5 p.m. at the Anita Shapolsky Art Gallery, 20 West Broadway, Jim Thorpe.

The exhibit will showcase 138 works of art created by 46 artists. The artists will be in attendance to discuss their work with viewers.The exhibit is free and the public is invited to select by vote, the winner of the "People's Choice Award."All awards will be presented on Sunday at the artists' reception.Awards will be given for: Best of Show, first, second, and third place in each category. Categories are oil, watercolor, and acrylic; sculpture/mixed media, works on paper and people's choice.
