Safe removed in Schuylkill

A safe was removed from a Schuylkill County business during a burglary. A theft incident is also being investigated

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the break-in occurred at Beer Mountain, located at 297 Suedberg Rd., in Pine Grove Township, about 2:57 a.m. on Sunday, May 20. Entry was gained by prying open the front double doors with a prybar. The safe was removed from a rear office, troopers said.

The theft occurred at The Flower Tent, located in North Manheim Township. Troopers said three flower arrangements were removed from the tent, which is located off SR61 next to the Manheim Diner, sometime overnight of May 20-21. Value of the flowers was set at $60.
