Published May 23. 2013 05:03PM

Members of the Carbon County Planning Commission met Tuesday at the Emergency Management office, Nesquehoning, to review two subdivision plans. Fred Bresswein presided over the meeting.

One plan was approved and the other plan was granted conditional plan rejection.

Jake Arner presented information about a lot line revision review for Canyon Rim Estates. Arner said that he was retaining 143 acres and plans to use part of the parcel for his own home and to begin a nine acre organic farm and five acre vineyard. He said that he has working with the Jim Thorpe borough on the plans for the past six months. He said that he wanted to get a separate tax parcel number for the that phase of the development.

His request was approved.

Conditional plan rejection was granted to Lisa M. Serfass plans to subdivide .26 acres into two lots at 183 1/2 King Alley in Lehighton. The board said that the plans do not contain plan requirements of the Lehighton Borough Subdivision Ordinances.
