Two cited for theft at Wal-Mart

Rush Township police recently cited two people for stealing items from the Hometown Commons Walmart.

Kira Valera, 31, of Jim Thorpe, allegedly removed items from the store at 3 p.m. on May 17 and is facing charges of retail theft and receiving stolen property.

A 17-year-old from Lansford will be cited for retail theft after allegedly removing items valued at $30.76. That incident took place at 4:25 p.m. on May 14.
