Theft of beer kegs being probed

State police at Lehighton are investigating the theft of beer kegs from a Carbon County business.

Troopers said four empty beer kegs were removed from the outside property of Riverwalck Saloon, in Parryville, about 7:45 p.m. on May 14.

Troopers said two males were observed taking the kegs and fleeing west on SR248. The one male was described as being a Hispanic male, heavy build, about six-feet tall, weighing about 250 pounds with a pony tail. The second suspect is a white male, about five-feet, eight-inches tall, with combed dark hair and wearing black shorts.

The suspect car is a blue in color Dodge Neon, early 2000s model, with a partial state plate registration of JGP.
