Chelsea Ann Ciccanti, 26, Pottsville, had her bail modified by Senior Judge D. Michael Stine to $1,000 percentage cash with stipulations she must reside at 402 Market St., Apt. D2, Pottsville, and cannot relocate without permission from court, and must no use, posses or transport drugs or alcohol. Ciccanti faces charges filed by Pottsville Sgt. James Joos, of possesson of heroin and cocaine.
Michael John Kendall Jr., 28, Schuylkill Haven, had his bail modified by Stine to $5,000 unsecured with conditions he must reside at 145 Blue Ridge Drive, Levittown. He was cited by Schuylkill Haven Officer Kenneth Jacoby, with simple assault on Astin Spears, 208 Dock St.
Credit card default
CACH, LLC, Denver, Colo., filed suit to enter a judgment against Clara E. Drasher, 46 E. Grant St., McAdoo, in amount of $5,886.22 alleging she defaulted on her credit card.
Remit Corporation, Bloomsburg, filed a suit against Kim M. Sartori, 55 E. Market St., Sheppton, East Union Township, seeking a judgment in amount of $11,113.82 plus interest and cost on her credit card.
Citibank, NN, Sioux Falls, S.D., filed suit against Susan M. Bettis, 37 Forest Avenue, Barnesville, for $4,538.27 plus interest and cost on her credit card.
Aimee M. Schaffer, 38, Orwigsburg, lost her appeal from a ruling made by a district judge as Judge John E. Domalakes found her guilty of a charge of retail theft and ordered the fine and cost imposed by the district judge stand. Schaffer was charged with taking an item valued at $17.78 from Redner's Warehouse Market in North Manheim Township. The store did not seek restitution. Schaffer was fined $200 plus $50 costs.
Charles Edward Wernert Jr., 33, Schuylkill Haven, changed his mind when his case was called on his summary appeal and he entered a guilty plea to a charge of driving while his license was suspended and failing to obey a traffic signal on SR61 in West Brunswick Township. Domalakes imposed a fine of $1,000 on the license suspension and $25 on the traffic violation plus $100 costs. He was cited by Trooper Joshua A. Lacey.
Louie Fernando Rivera, 22, Freeland, pleaded guilty to carrying a firearm without a license and possession with intent to delivery a controlled substance in Pottsville, and was sentenced by Judge James P. Goodman to serve three to six years in a state correctional facility with credit for spending 237 days in the county prison. Rivera was cited by Pottsville Cpl. Dennis Wiederhold.
