A Tamaqua man will be cited following a motorcycle accident in Rush Township on May 16.

Police responded to a report of an accident on Tuscarora Park Road at 5:19 p.m. and found Michael D. Confer, 22, who had lost control of a 2005 Honda motorcycle. The cycle did not have a license plate and a records check indicated it is owned by Curtis Cheng of Springfield, Va.In addition to not having a license plate on the bike, Confer also faces charges of failure to have insurance, failure to have a motorcycle operator's license, and numerous other citations.Confer did have visible injuries but refused medical attention at the scene.
