Take the 165-mile challenge

Get outdoors, get active and explore nature by walking, running or biking the D&L Trail. It is 165 miles of natural beauty in our own backyard. Log your miles via the Get Your Tail on the Trail website and receive prizes as you achieve your milestone goals. Visit us and register at www.tailonthetrail.org.

All registrants will receive a welcome kit with a backpack, water bottle and instructions on how to log your miles.

RSVPs for events are encouraged. You can RSVP by calling St. Luke's InfoLink at 1-866-STLUKES. Event activities include the St. Luke's HealthStar van, free giveaways and snacks.

Special champion events include: June 1, 9 a.m. at Carbon County Trailhead in Jim Thorpe; June 29, 9 a.m. at Allentown's Lehigh Canal Park off Hamilton Blvd; July 27, 9 a.m. at Quakertown's Perkiomen Trail, Aug. 24, 9 a.m. at Bethlehem's Sand Island; Sept. 28, 10 a.m. at Easton's access to the D&L Trail off Hope Road; and Oct. 26, 10 a.m. at Phillipsburg, N.J., Hugh Moore park to Easton.
