A number of Air Products employees enjoyed a day of bowling with over 30 Avenues consumers of Mahanoy City recently at the Spare Time Bowling Lanes in Hometown.

The event was held as as part of the Schuykill United Way's annual Day of Caring. Avenues, a non-profit organization committed to changing the lives of individuals who have physical and/or acquired disabilities, has been serving Schuylkill County and the surrounding areas since 1952.

An Avenues representative said that Avenue's mission is to provide innovative services to empower individuals to attain the highest quality of life by encouraging risks for success. In doing so, they offer a wide variety of programs that reach people from birth to an elderly age.
