Firefighters respondto electrical fire in Barnesville

Firefighters were called to 1 Hamilton Street, near State Road, in Barnesville, Ryan Township, just before 4 a.m. Sunday after residents were awoken by smoke detectors and the smell of smoke. Firefighters on scene were quick to determine the cause, said to be from a dining room outlet on the second floor of the home. Responding were firefighters and fire police from Ryan Township and surrounding companies. No injuries were reported.
