Burglary, theft incidents probed

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a burglary and theft from vehicle incidents in Schuylkill County.

A garage at 232 Hill Road, in Barry Township, was entered sometime between April 19 and Friday, May 3. Removed were multiple articles along with car parts off a vehicle stored in the garage. The property is owned by Stephen Arzoomanian, 54, of Haberstraw, N.Y.

A "bucket truck" parked along the shoulder of SR61 northbound, about 200-feet north of Brick Hill Rd., in West Brunswick Township, was entered sometime between 5:15 p.m. on May 1 and 8:15 a.m. on May 2.

A locked compartment was entered and a spool of copper wire taken. Damages were done to two locking mechanisms and four utility compartment doors. The truck is owned by Rooney Line Construction, of Lansdale, Montgomery County.

Troopers are probing a criminal mischief incident that occurred at the JC Coal Company property, located in Branch Township. Unknown criminals gained entry to the property and broke a steel gate. The incident occurred sometime overnight of April 29-30.
