Pleasant Valley School District held its 13th annual Academic Fair at the high school. The fair highlights everything from academics to the arts in the many projects that students from kindergarten to 12th grade and Monroe County Career and Technical Institute have worked on during the 2012-2013 school year.
A Health Fair was held in the high school's cafeteria, while student musicians, such as the PVHS Jazz Band, PVMS Jazz Band and PVMS chorus, entertained visitors. Art work and technology presentations were on display and demonstrations, such as how to tie flies or make a piece of furniture in the woodworking shop, were ongoing.

"We pushed for a Science Club because we wanted a place where those of us who love science can get together and 'talk' science' in a relaxed atmosphere," says Zarzycki. The Science Club's goal is to raise awareness of science and its implications to students and the general public. They discuss various topics of science, conduct experiments and have hands-on-labs.
