State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a three-vehicle, rear end crash about 7:56 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, along SR61 in Port Clinton, near Clinton Street, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Lisa A. Martin, 43, of Schuylkill Haven, driving a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu, was southbound and slowed for a vehicle in front which was turning onto the shoulder. Denise L. Gicking, 47, of Seltzer, driving a 2005 Toyota Corolla, was behind Martin and failed to stop in time and struck the rear of the Malibu. After impact Christopher I. Maxwell, 62, of Pottsville, driving a 2012 Toyota Corolla, who was behind Gicking, was unable to stop and struck the rear bumper of Gicking's car.No one was injured. Gicking's and Maxwell's vehicles' had to be towed while Martin was able to drive her vehicle, troopers said.Gicking was cited to driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed, troopers added.
