The Tamaqua Community Arts Center is currently featuring a broad media array of artworks by Jeff Rimm.

"I have been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil," said Rimm, a Tamaqua native, who stated his interest with art stayed with him all his life.

The outdoors, nature and small town family is what inspire his artistic creations. Some medias used during his creations include pen, pencil, watercolor, photography and wood burning. A large majority of his work capture scenes or people, most being from the Tamaqua area. Rimm has worked in many areas of art and design doing commission work throughout the US and Germany and freelance work consisting of cartooning, book illustrating, T-shirt designs, business logos/designs, technical diagrams and detailing machine parts.

He has also had several art shows in the Tamaqua area, to include a family art show in 2011. His work will be on display at the center, 125 Pine St., until May 16.
