Leh. Fire Dept. has 8 calls in Feb.

The Lehighton Fire Department responded to eight calls during February.

They included three vehicle accidents, two odor investigations, one automatic alarm, one dwelling fire, and one electrical wire.

Fire Chief Gary Frable said time spent on calls was seven hours and 19 minutes.

Of those calls, four were in Mahoning Township, three were in Lehighton, and one was a mutual aid call elsewhere.

Three training sessions were held.

A total of 68 man hours were spent maintaining apparatus, equipment, and stations, and 203 man hours were spent for in-house training.
