Monroe burglary is investigated

State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a burglary that happened between 2 and 7:30 a.m. March 22 at a residence in Monroe County.

The victim is Larry Elmer Purcell, 30, of 4144 Forest Drive, Kunkletown, Polk Township.

Police said someone gained entry to his home, located in the Eldo Lakes development, through a side door leading to the living room. Once inside, the actor(s) took a pair of jeans containing $5,000 cash, an X-Box games console, an Apple Mac Book Pro, silver in color, a Movado watch, silver in color, a Nikon camera, numerous bottles of cologne, a gold necklace and a Samsung Galaxy cell phone.
