Bill Donovan, Captain USMC (ret.) and Bill Gaddes, SSGT USAF (ret.) attended the Congressional Medal of Honor Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.

The event was held at Monday afternoon.

Twenty one holders of the Medal of Honor (MOH), our Nation's highest combat military decoration, participated in placement of a memorial wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. This moving ceremony was assisted by a squad of the famous Honor Guard assigned to protect the tomb and to remind those who visit the tomb of the sacrifices of our military and their contribution to maintenance of the freedoms we enjoy as Americans.

Donovan, of Tamaqua, and Gaddes, of Lake Hauto, met with Tom Wilkerson, Lieutenant General USMC (ret.), Donovan's Marine F-4 fighter pilot in Japan during the Vietnam War. General Wilkinson is the host of 31 holders of the Medal of Honor during week long ceremonies during this National MOH Week in Washington and New York.
