Neighbor dispute leads to charges

What state police at Lehighton described as a ongoing neighborhood dispute, two parties involved have been charged.

Troopers said the incident occurred about 8:30 p.m. on Monday, March 18, in the 100 block of Jaclyn Drive, in Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County.

According to police Jennifer Iovino confronted John Troianiello in reference to him shoveling snow. A verbal argument ensued and Gerald Iovino became involved.

Troianiello allegedly shoved Gerald Iovino in the chest. Troianiello then returned to his property.

Mrs. Iovino followed him and continued the verbal argument. Troianiello put his hand up and told Mrs. Iovino to leave his property. Mrs. Iovino continued the verbal argument and then left the property.

As a result, troopers said, Mrs. Iovino was charged with simple trespass and Troianiello was charged with harassment.
