Gilbert driver facing DUI count

A Gilbert, Monroe County, driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 8:57 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, along SR209 near Gilbert Road, in Chestnuthill Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said William P. Parr, 37, was stopped for tailgating and found to be under the influence. He was taken for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
