Body of man found in Summit Hill

Summit Hill police said that a man found dead Tuesday afternoon in a wooded area of their community is believed to have died of natural causes. The deceased was identified as Frank Stone, 63, of Summit Hill. Shortly before 2 p.m. a resident living on the northeast corner of West Fell and North Poplar streets looked down into the wooded area and noticed a man lying on the ground. Authorities were notified and upon investigation it was determined the male was deceased. Members of the Summit Hill Fire Department were dispatched to assist at the scene. Stone was pronounced dead at the scene by Carbon County Deputy Coroner Robert Miller. Summit Hill police are investigating the death. Stone was found along a path which people often use to walk from Summit Hll to Lansford.
