Carbon business cited by PLCB

A Carbon County business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

Blue Mountain Pub Inc., 3790 Forest Inn Rd., Palmerton, Lower Towamensing Township, has been cited for refilling liquor bottles. The alleged violation occurred on Feb. 3.

The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authoirty to imposed penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious ones. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
