Published March 12. 2013 05:01PM

The Palmerton Area Historical Society is looking for lady's-and-men's antique hats. "Antique" means anything 50 years or older. These hats, hat boxes, pins, etc. will be used in the display room at the Heritage Center.

An open house will be held on Sunday, April 28, in the Center. Please label any item loaned to the Center and, if possible, any information you may have about the item. An accompanying photo of someone wearing the hat would be appreciated.

Hours at the Heritage Center are Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. For more information please call (610) 824-6954 or contact any committee member: Mary Beth Beers, Jane Borbe, Cindy Gasper, Marlene Greenwood, Joanne Harris, Anita Harry, Vinita Horinko, Marianne Smelas or Susan Steigerwalt.
