Fugitive is nabbed

Published March 11. 2013 05:04PM

A fugitive from justice, who was sought by state police at Fern Ridge on a warrant issued out of New Jersey, has been apprehended.

Troopers said Justin Miller, of Blakeslee, was arrested in New York City on March 6 by U.S. Marshals. Miller was wanted for vehicle thefts and assaulting a police officer in New Jersey.

On March 2 troopers went to a residence at 1156 Green Mount Drive, in Chestnuthill Township, after learning Miller was residing there. As troopers approached the home Miller fled through a back door.

Troopers gave chase on foot but were unable to apprehend Miller at that time.
