March 8, 2005 Amanda McGimpsey scores a game-high 21 points and Dana Stellar's block in the final seconds allows the Northwestern girls to register a 65-63 over Reading Holy Name in the second round of the PIAA Class AA state playoffs. Stellar, who finishes with 15 points and 11 rebounds, swats away a layup attempt with under 10 seconds to play and her team up by one point. McGimpsey, whose 12 points in the first half help the Tigers build a 38-20 lead, then hits a free throw with .9 to play for the final margin. The winners, coached by Chris Deutsch, also receive 12 points from Taylor Sukanick.
