Girls Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania, Service Unit 309, will be hosting summer weekend camp Aug. 2-4.

The Camp Evergreen theme this year is "Once Upon A Camp." Girls will enjoy hiking, cooking out, nature study, arts and crafts, campfires and more.Girls will participate in planned program activities with trained volunteers who share their enthusiasm and love of the outdoors.A nurse or qualified first-aider will be on hand during the entire weekend.Camp enrollment will be limited to 75 girls.Applications will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.Camp is open to girls in the Scouting program, or who would like to become a Scout.
