Published June 25. 2013 05:03PM

A Luzerne County man was cited for two burglaries that occurred in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said during the month of May they investigated numerous burglaries that occurred in the Blakeslee area. Numerous items were stolen in the break-ins. During June police followed up on leads to the break-ins and interviewed witnesses.

As a result police said Christopher L. Albertson, 33, of Freeland, was charged in connection with two of the burglaries. He was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, criminal conspiracy, receiving stolen property, and criminal mischief.

He is currently lodged in the Luzerne County prison in Wilkes-Barre on unrelated charges. The investigation into the entries is ongoing, police added.
