Unoccupied home entered in Monroe

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating a burglary that happened between June 1-18 at a residence in Jackson Township, Monroe County.

The victim is Jeffery Gheraldi of Manalapan, N.J.

Police said someone gained entry to his unoccupied residence by forcing open a door. Although access was gained to the residence, police said it appears that nothing was stolen in the breakin before the actor(s) fled the scene.

The home is located at 530 Smith Hill Road in the township.
