Rush woman facing theft count

Rose Adamitis, 18, of Quakake, is facing charges in connection with a theft from a Rush Township residence in January. The residence is located on Ben Titus Road.

Adamitis had been living at the residence and moved out in January. When she left she allegedly took jewelry and cash that didn't belong to her. Several of the jewelry items were pawned at a shop in Hazleton.

Township police are charging Adamitis with theft and receiving stolen property.
