Home invasion investigated in Lansford

Lansford police are investigating a home invasion which occurred in the early morning hours of June 6 on the 700 block of East Patterson Street.

The female victim reported that she heard a noise at the basement door. When she opened the door, she was rushed by two unknown males who forced their way into the residence. She struggled with both males and was told by them to shut up. One male covered her mouth in an attempt to keep her from screaming. She continued to yell for help and both males left through the same door in an unknown direction.

The males are described as a white male with short hair, wearing a hoodie, jeans, and sneakers. The other was possibly black, with a black hoodie, black jeans, and black hat.
