Frackville woman arrested for theft
Melissa Spina, 23, of Frackville, is facing charges following an incident in Rush Township on May 30.
Spina allegedly removed $192.20 worth of merchandise from the Hometown Commons Wal-Mart at 4:12 p.m., then fled north in a motor vehicle. State police were able to intercept her just north of McAdoo on SR309.
She faces charges of retail theft, receiving stolen property, and driving under suspension-DUI related.
She was lodged in the Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville, after police determined there was a bench warrant, issued by Luzerne County officials, for her arrest.
