Marian high school graduate Ryan Gimbi recently completed his sophomore season pitching for Kings College of Wilkes Barre.

Gimbi finished sixth in the nation in the strike outs per nine inning category in NCAA Division III baseball. Gimbi had 56 strike outs in 45 innings of work for a 11.2 average.Gimbi picked up three wins in nine appearances for the Monarchs. Ryan is the son of Curt and Debbie Gimbi of McAdoo.
