The fact that it was the hottest week of the summer couldn't stop area children from attending Vacation Bible School at Grace Community Church in Lansford recently.

Over 60 children ages 3-15 attended the weeklong program written by the Go Fish Guys called "Praise Where kids get down and lift God high!"Over the course of the week the children sang songs, did crafts, made new friends and learned how to praise God through Bible stories about Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, Daniel, Paul and Silas, and Jesus.A closing program was presented on the final evening where children shared all that they had learned and experienced throughout the week with family and friends in attendance.
