Speed stop leads to illegals

A speed stop by Nesquehoning police led to two illegal aliens being apprehended.

Officer Steven Homanko stopped Antonio Santos-Basurto, of Mount Vernon, Wash., on July 25 for going 73 miles-per-hour in a 55 zone. During the stop Homanko found two passengers were in the country illegally and were taken into custody.

Homanko also reported the arrest of Breanna Cullen, of Coaldale, for speeding, 56 mph in a 40 zone on July 24. Also, Rajmohinder Singh-Sidh, of Germantown, cited for going 58 mph in a 40 zone, on the same date.
