Motorcycle accident in West Penn

Emergency crews were called to the 100 block of Mush Dahl Road around 10 a.m. yesterday in West Penn Township for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. The rider, Howard Boyer Jr. of Tamaqua, was driving a 1995 Kawasaki, owned by Diane Smith of Tamaqua, and was taken via ambulance to Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital in Lehighton for unknown issues. Police report that Boyer was traveling north on Mush Dahl Road when a 2003 Volvo, driven by Anthony Bubary Jr. of New Ringgold, allegedly pulled into the path of Boyer. The vehicles didn't come into contact with each other. Responding in addition to police were West Penn firefighters, fire police and Penn Mahoning Ambulance. West Penn Police Chief Brian Johnson is the investigating officer.
