Bassem Jarjous, 43, of New Tripoli, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol as a result of a traffic stop made at 12:19 a.m. July 21 at the intersection of Route 100 and Mohr Lane in Fogelsville.

Upper Macungie Township police said he was stopped for leaving his lane of travel, after which time police said he showed signs of intoxication and was subsequently processed for DUI.
