Towamensing, Tamaqua Blue pick up PVLL 11-12 victories

Towamensing Blue and Tamaqua Blue scored wins in the Panher Valley 11-112 Little League Tournament.


Towamensing Blue-Tamaqua White

Towamensing Blue defeated Tamaqua White 7-6.

Colby Kunkle was two-for-three and got the win. Logan Kresge was also two-for-three.

Tamaqua Blue-Franklin Gray

Tamaqua bats erupted in the third inning to down Franklin Gray, 24-4.

The hitting was lead by the pitcher Brady Moyer who was three-for-four with two homers and a double. Also with big nights were Scherer with two homers and a double. Others going deep for Tamaqua were Boyle and Titus who also had multiple hits. Bonetsky added three hits and Breiner, Gazdick and Hamm had two hits.

Franklin's hits came from Ahner, Whiteman and Cope


Tamaqua Blue-Franklin Blue

The Tamaqua Blue had an easy time defeating Franklin Blue by a 15-2 score.

Darren Stauffenberg, Nate Wickersham and Aaron Coccio all had three hits for the winners.

Trent Solt and Nate Armbruster were the big hitters for Franklin.

Tamaqua Blue-Towamensing

Tamaqua Blue picked up another win by beating Towamensing.

Aaron Coccio had four hits, while Brian Milot and Nate Wickersham added two hits each for Tamaqua.

Lucas Heydt had three hits for Towamensing.

Anthracite-Tamaqua White

Tamaqua White jumped out to 7-0 lead in the top half of the first, but Anthracite bounced back for a 10-9 victory.

Derek Pavlick delivered a walk-off double scoring Michael Pascoe who walked and Bryan Smith who singled.

Pascoe had two singles, two walks and scored two runs for Anthracite. Derek Pavlick added three singles, a double, scored a run and had six RBI's. Smith had three hits, including a doubled and run scored and Eddie Farer had a single, double, scored a run and had two RBI's.

For Tamaqua White, Anthony Gregoire had two singles and scored two runs, while Michael Steigerwalt also had two hits.
