A Monroe County man was jailed last week following a gun shooting incident. Pocono Mountain Regional police said the incident occurred about 8:20 p.m. on July 11, along Leslie Way, Tobyhanna, in Coolbaugh Township.

Police were dispatched to the scene to a report of a neighbors' dispute in which one neighbor threatened to shoot the other neighbor with a gun.

As officers proceeded to the scene there were told that the neighbor returned with a gun and was shooting at the other neighbor's house.

Upon arrival police found the suspect, identified as Kenneth McGoy, of 1133 Leslie Way, in the driveway of his home. He was uncooperative and would not comply with verbal commands.

Police deployed a taser on McGoy to take him into custody. He was charged with terroristic threats, reckless endangering, and simple assault. He was placed in the county prison in Snydersville, police said.
