Incident at high rise leads to arrest

A Tamaqua man has been cited following a July 4 incident at the Tamaqua Majestic House Apartment Complex.

According to the police report, Mary Bade, 59, a resident of the complex, was attempting to exit the building while pushing a wheelchair. As she was trying to open the door she was approached by William Linkhorst, 61, another resident of the building. Bade reportedly told Linkhorst she would be out of his way in "just a minute," at which time he shoved his way past her. She struck the wall bruising her forearm and left shoulder.

Linkhorst faces charges of harassment.
