Chippy Chipmunk visits Panther Valley Public Library

The Panther Valley Public Library, 117 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, is holding special programs through its summer reading program. This year's theme is "Dig Into Reading." Children's author Kathy M. Miller of New Ringgold visited the library on Tuesday to teach children how to appreciate nature in their own backyards. As a special treat, Miller brought along a character from her book, "Chippy Chipmunk."
