Road rage incident being probed

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a road rage incident involving a gun that occurred early in the morning of Saturday, July 6.

Troopers said the incident occurred about 3:08 a.m. in the area of 207 Maurer St., in Norwegian Township, near Pottsville.

Troopers said a vehicle was driven past Jason Davis, 35, of Pottsville, at a high rate of speed. Davis yelled at the driver to slow down. The driver stopped and turned around and confronted Davis.

Davis told troopers the other person pointed a pistol at him. The two exchange words and the other driver then fled the scene heading southeast towards Pottsville. The suspect was driving a gray Honda Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).
