Lane restrictions will occur next week on the Route 209, Thomas J. McCall Memorial Bridge, Lehighton, according to PennDOT.

The restrictions are needed for bridge inspection. The work is being done by PennDOT bridge inspection forces.

Northbound lane restrictions are anticipated on Monday and Tuesday. Southbound lane restriction are expected to begin on Wednesday.

PennDOT urges that caution be used since delays are likely.

The restrictions will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Rain can cause delays in the project, PennDOT says.
