As part of the 250th anniversary celebration of Chestnuthill Township, which includes the four townships of the Pleasant Valley School District, the anniversary committee is looking for the oldest person in each township to serve as co-grand marshals of the parade. Ross, Eldred and Polk were broken off from Chestnut Hill, which was the township's original name.

The parade will take place Sept. 7 at the West End Fairgrounds as part of a day-long celebration.Nominations are needed for Polk and Eldred townships. With suggestions email
