Two women cited for retail theft

Two Monroe County women were cited for retail theft following an incident that occurred about 4:03 p.m. on Monday, July 1, at the Shop Rite store at 107 Kinsley Drive, in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said Elizabeth R. Depalma, 18, and Kilee N. Cunningham, 20, both of Stroudsburg, allegedly attempted to leave the store with $126.73 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Both were issued citations and released.
